Aluminum Shroud and Fan
The new-design fan and fan shroud effectively direct heat over and out of the engine compartment rather than thrusting it toward the front of the engine. The fan shroud houses and secures the fan blades, helping prevent contact with other engine components that may interfere with smooth and even engine operation.
With effective operating-temperature management, allowable engine temperature levels are stabilized. Proper maintenance can also help maintain ideal engine working conditions and overall driving quality.
1. Fan shroud helps ensure airflow passes through efficiently.
2. S-blade fan with push or pull type design and lightweight, durable plastic construction.
Description
This Aluminum Radiator is designed to provide maximum cooling efficiency to help prevent premature engine failure. Its lightweight, high-heat-transfer aluminum construction features a tube-and-fin design that dramatically increases surface area, allowing heat to dissipate more efficiently.
This Aluminum Radiator is at least 30%–45% more efficient than stock radiators. Most importantly, it has a much higher coolant capacity than stock units, helping the cooling system operate more efficiently and resist temperature surges in racing applications.
