Aluminum Shroud and Fans
The fan and fan shroud effectively drive heat over and out of the engine compartment rather than thrusting it into the front of the engine. The fan shroud houses the fan blades, securing them in place and helping prevent contact with other engine components that may disturb smooth and even engine operation.
With effective operating-temperature management, allowable engine temperature levels are stabilized. Proper maintenance can also benefit ride and driving quality by helping maintain ideal engine working conditions.
Description
This aluminum radiator is designed to provide maximum cooling efficiency to help prevent premature engine failure. Its lightweight, high-heat-transfer aluminum construction features a tube-and-fin design that dramatically increases surface area, allowing heat to dissipate more efficiently.
This Aluminum Radiator is at least 40% more efficient than stock radiators. Most importantly, it has a much higher coolant capacity than stock units, helping the cooling system operate more efficiently and resist temperature surges in racing applications.
